Spotlight and Weekly Winner

Good morning Sweet Stampers! How are you all this morning?  I hope you're all managing to get some "me" time to work on some Birthday themed projects - there's a rather good challenge on at the moment (ahem!).

But first, let's see who is in the Spotlight from our gingham challenge.  We saw some fabulous projects but you know me, I'm a bit of a stickler for the rules, so I went for something that is not only very pretty, but used a gingham pattern.

Well done #29 Jacky Paddington Fan - your new baby card is so, so sweet!  Please go to the tab at the top of the page and take our blinkie for your blog!

Our sponsors this week are the fabulous Fairy Dust Crafts. They have a lovely prize for our randomly chosen winner, who is...

#28 Wendy.  Congratulations, Wendy. Please use the link in the sidebar to email Abi and Fi, who will let you know how to claim your prize.

Well, as I mentioned early, it's all go at Sweet Stampin' Towers this week as we celebrate our 2nd birthday.  There are prizes galore on offer (see the post for more details). So let's see those Birthday creations - it could be you winning one of those fabby prizes!

Have a wonderful week everyone and Happy Stampin'!

We're kindly sponsored this week by the lovely Fairy Dust Crafts who as well as having a great range of digi's also stock loads of other goodies such as Promarkers, flowers & charms

Now without further ado, here's your inspiration:

Our guest sweet thing Tracy

Spotlight and Weekly Winner

Good Morning Sweet Stampers!  Hope you are all fit and well and enjoying a relaxing weekend!

I don't know what it is about this time of year - the shorter days, maybe - but time seems to speed up somehow.  It will be Christmas before we know it and if you're anything like me, you'll be wondering how on earth you're going to get all those cards made before the last posting date!

Well it's time to see who is in our Spotlight this week.  Our challenge was to take inspiration from this photo

so you could choose flowers, or the colours, or both as the basis for your project.  The card that stood out for me this week was this one:

Congratulations #6 Lisa Sumpter! Lisa took her inspiration from the oranges and blues in the photo and from the flowers too.  Don't you just love the fabby Saturated Canary image?  Help yourself to our Spotlight blinkie, Lisa and well done!

Our randomly chosen winner this week is in for a treat, as the gorgeousness that is our Fi is giving away 2 Sugar Nellie stamps!

And the lucky winner is

Congratulations!  Please use the link in the sidebar to email Abi and Fi and they organise delivery of your yummy prize!

This week we'd like to see gingham on your projects!  You can make a card, scrapbook page, altered-something - anything you like as long as it is (a) stamped and (b) has gingham on it somewhere! I must admit that this is one of my favourite challenges as I adore gingham - even my new Christmas decorations are red and white gingham and I can't wait to put them up!

Have a fab week everyone and Happy Stampin'!

Top 5 in the Spotlight and Weekly Winner!

Oh my goodness!  What a week!  Over 300 entries - a Sweet Stampin' record, surely!  And what a fabulous lot of entries they were, too.  Certainly far too many to pick just one Spotlighter but with so many beautiful creations to choose from it was near enough impossible to get a Top Five! Abi and Fi will tell you that our respective broadband connections have been crackling and steaming as a result of the many emails it has taken to get (and agree on lol!) the final selection!

So without any further waffling from me, here are our Top 5 entries in the Spotlight this week:

So, what do you think?  Aren't they lovely?  Many, many congratulations to all of our Top 5. Please take our blinkie for your blogs, Spotlighters - you have certainly earned it!

Here at Sweet Stampin' Towers we do like to showcase young talent and we thought you might like to see an entry by a very talented young designer, Carrie, who is eight years old.  Creativity obviously runs in Carrie's family and we thought this was a stunner!  Well done, Carrie!

And now we come to the random draw for this week's prize winner.

Yes, # 261 Detje, you are the lucky winner of some fab digis from the Stamping Boutique!  Please use the email link in the sidebar to contact Fi and Abi, who will let you know how to claim your prize.

Just time now to remind of our new challenge, which is a photo inspiration one.  And Fi has some fabby Sugar Nellie stamps for the lucky randomly chosen winner (yes, that's right, SUGAR NELLIE!!).

Right, I think I'm going to have to have a lie down in a darkened room after this marathon post! Have a wonderful week Sweet Stampers and Happy Stampin'!

A new challenge at Sweet Stampin'

Good morning sweet stampers and another challenge here at Sweet Stampin'. Now for a wee change we thought we would give you a photo for some inspiration as we haven't had that for a while, now you can use the colours, the flowers, the photo itself just as long as your project has a connection to the photo....isn't it a pretty photo.... just before I go on, can I just remind you all that you need include something that has been stamped and you can only enter a maximum of 2 entries just to make it fair when drawing our random winners.

Unfortunately we had a bit of a hiccup with this week's sponsor, but our very own, very wonderful Fi (this isn't Fi writing this, so I can say that otherwise it might look a touch conceited lol!) has stepped into the breach & is offering 2 rubber stamps from Sugar Nellie!!! Now isn't that fabulous? I quite fancy that myself actually!!

Check out the inspiration below from our fabby Design Team...they have made a wonderful job and we also have Tracey joining us and who is our Guest Designer for the month of November, so pop over to their own blogs and leave them some love.
